They eased up on me

So it’s a good sign to go forward …

I got many valuable suggestions that have shed light on many issues.

Even after all this mess with the scamming… from my recent discussions, I realize that a lot of people still love to do business with Nigeria.

This makes me happy because, if we can overturn this bad name by just an inch, that’s enough to get the ball rolling fast.

All we need now is a few good examples of honest online trading activities in Nigeria using the auction service and it will awaken those who lost hope that honesty pays.

The key is in the mentality… People have been brain washed for years now to thinking that the end justifies the means.. See what good that has brought us!

This is going to be harder than I expected

I’ve had an amazing day today… I went to forums to ask for help on the survey and now I realize that the damage caused by scam is worse than imagined.

People out there are now so cautious that even a decent conversation is suspicious of a deeper meaning… I can’t blame anyone though.

I have been scrutinized today so hard and I didn’t offer anyone to buy or sell anything… really amazing!

So in this case, I need more armor since I not only have to fight the dark side, but also convince the light that I am bright and shinning.

There’s a lot of work to be done, and we are almost there.:)

The essence of the online buying and selling platform in Nigeria is to encourage the exchange of goods and services irrespective of location.

However there is a major concern we are trying to address. We have created a very simple yet effective initial verification system that will allow you or us to reach any buyer or seller easily, we have also setup a feedback system that will allow members rate buyers and seller based on past performance, and we have also developed features that will make it very difficult for a fraudster to register again once banned.

Our system is setup in such away that it can induce honest buying and selling, however the main concern is that, in the beginning everyone is new to the system so before the secure system takes effect, how will you, as a user react.

I would like to set this up as an open discussion with members to hear your thoughts on how to safely bid on a product someone is selling and what will be the motivation for a seller to remain honest from the start.
