Today, I was just going through my messages and the comments from the surveys and I’m really astonished at how many people have been held back in their business because of lack of opportunities…

I’ve been on the road for some time now and haven’t been able to update you on new development.

However work has been going on smoothly and we are excited to say that it’s not too far off now from the Beta launch.

I’ve talked to a few more people about this project while in London and Dundee and everyone is excited to see it come to life.

So far I’ve received very important input from my quest to find out how to better secure the system. One valuable suggestion I got is to allow scampatrol as one of the admins.

At first the thought of having someone else in my admin didn’t go down too well, but after a second thought I realized this will really boost credibility.

I did plan to setup a committee to help monitor things, but who better to have on board than those who deal with this issue on a daily basis.

I’m off to London in the morning so should take things further from there.

What can I say but… SCAMMERS BEWARE

The first post I made was a question on how to encourage people to use the site in the without having to worry about being victimized and after find out how the site owners can help solve the issue.

To be honest, no matter where your scammer lives, if he or she covers their tracks, it won’t be an easy task to find and bring them to justice.

After giving this much thought, I realize the key is in the awareness campaign.

Stopping the fraud before it happens will go a long way in minimizing scam.

I’ve looked at Ebay , and honestly I can’t see that there is much effort from them to reduce this scam attempt. Although the information about how to buy and sell safely is ready on the site, but unless you go search for it , you will never know.

Pushing the scam alert in the face of buyers and sellers, will help them understand safe buying and selling habits. At the same time, this will put of a scammer because he now knows that his work is cut out for him.

My target now is to build an awareness campaign that will ultimately educate people about safe buying and selling habits
